Studio TRW Ltd is a media production company founded by award-winning producer Tim Williams in 2025.
After growing up in Somerset, Tim studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Oxford University, where he was President of the Oxford Media Society, graduating in 2013.
After work experience at Sky News, The Times, The Telegraph and the BBC, he joined Sky News full-time in London, producing news and sports coverage before joining Sky Sports News.
After almost five years at Sky, he moved to ITV Sport, as a senior member of the production team on ITV Racing. Progressing to Programme Editor during an eight year stint, Tim was part of the team that won two BAFTAs, in 2018 and 2024, for the UK’s Best Sports Programme, amongst several other prestigious awards.
In 2020, he was named as a Sport Industry Group NextGen Leader, identified as one of the future leaders of the sports business and media world and awarded a leadership development package.
After moving back to Somerset, and following a foray into Public Affairs with Agratas, Tim then set up his freelance business, Studio TRW Ltd in 2025.
Much of his work remains in the broadcasting world, continuing to work again with the likes of ITV and Sky on a range of major sporting events (having left each on great terms). He also works with clients including Ascot Racecourse, the Burghley Horse Trials and the Saudi Cup.
He also produces podcasts for private clients as well as his own, The South West Agenda, interviewing politicians and business leaders.
He is now looking to bring a portion of his portfolio nearer to home, and work with a small selection of fantastic local businesses as their content partner!
